2018 – 2020: Application Development Engineer at Borealis. Developed novel composition of blown and oriented PE films. Provided technical support to develop business and application in the field of blown PE, blown PP, Cast PP, MDO PE and BOPP. Major applications were mono-material full PE & PP pouches, stretch hood, stretch films, easy-peel, collation shrink, thermoformed PA/PE and PP/PE barrier films.

2013 – 2018: Technical Service Manager at Mitsui Chemicals Europe. Provided technical support and developed application in the field of blown films of PE, biaxially oriented films of polypropylene, impact modified compounds of nylon and polypropylene. Major application fields were easy-peelable and low temperature sealable films for high speed packaging, automotive under the hood, and cables compounds.

2013 : Publishing of a Book “Magnetic particles in supported polymer nanostructures (ISBN 9783844016277)”.

2012 – 2013: Travelling around the world. Explored around 15 countries.

2009 – 2012: Research Scientist at MiNaXS beamline at Petra III of Deutsches Elektronen Synchrotron (DESY), Hamburg, Germany. Conducted research on block copolymers, polymer colloids and polymer-metal interfaces. Provided technical support to the beam line users. In charge of the AFM laboratory.

2008 : Guest scientist at Massachusetts University, Amherst, USA. Synthesized Fe-Pt nanoparticles to create 2d network polymer structures of conductive polymers.

2005 – 2008: PhD in Polymer Science, TU Munich, Munich Germany. PhD topic: Magnetic particles in supported polymer nano-structures. Morphology of self-assembled nanostructure in thin film of polymer and metal particles in solution and in physical vapour deposition process have been studied. Many novel results were published as articles in international peer-reviewed journals.

2005 : Guest Scientist at Institute for Polymer Research (IPF) Dresden, Germany. Research topic: Microfluidic device based on self-rolling polymer.

2003 – 2005: International Master in Applied Polymer Science, Martin Luther University, Halle (Saale), Germany. Master’s thesis title : Effect of surface finish on PET textiles. Wet chemical and plasma treatments were investigated to design optimum processing condition of OT-textiles to get maximum breath ability and maximum barrier to body fluid.

2001 – 2002: Worked as a Technical Support Specialist in a medical equipment supply company and as a Chemist in Crown cement company in Bangladesh.
